Florian Kirchhofer wins at Martinsville

Last years runner up dominated the Goody's Cool Orange 500 leading a race high 174 laps. He was closely followed by Joerg Kormany, together they lapped everybody else, even the actual champion Thomas S., so a little bit disappointing for him despite finishing in 3rd place.

Race-Report 3 of 12, Saturday, 3rd March 2007 @ Bristol

Joerg Kormany cruises to a victory at Bristol

After a poor qualifingrun Kormany fought back to win at Bristol.

Rookie Stephan Peters finished 2nd, Helge Gravemeyer 3rd.

Just 4 Cautions were thrown, much more were expected, because Bristol is such a demanding track. But after the last caution the drivers still needed to stop for fuel, so everybody hoped for a Yellow to avoid a greenflagstop, but it stayed green till the end.

Florian Kirchhofer lucky Winner of the Farewell Europe 500

First it looked like another dominating Victory of Joerg Kormany, until he hit pitroad for a green-flag-pitstop ending up with a speeding ticket in his pocket. This handed over to the trophy to Florian Kirchhofer.

Once again a great race of Johannes Leemann who finished 3rd behind Kormany.
