Kormany wins the Dan Lowry 400 @ Richmond
Joerg Kormany gives his championship-hopes a big push as he dominates the race nearly
leading all the laps. Only Polesitter Yosh Hughes seemed to be able to follow him around
the track.
Martin Buchan finally was able to finish in third place.
Andreas Kroeger brought home a 4th place and is now 2nd in the championship-standings.

Hughes Claims First Victory @ ICS
5 races so far this season - 5 different winners! Yosh Hughes contiunes the series of "each race a different winner" and wins the Dodge Challenger 500 ahead of King, Kroeger, Peters and Seyen.
Blessing in disguise for the German Championship-Leader Joerg Kormany who got in contact with Hughes in lap 108, Turn 1 at about 160 mph and crashed heavily into the wall.
The duraction of this debilitating race including 7 yellows was 2 hours and 24 minutes, which was just overtopped at Homestead in December 2006.

Veni, vidi, vici for Joachim Ingebrigtsen @ Talladega
Joachim Ingebrigtsen claims a
fantastic victory at Talladega Superspeedway in his first
apperance at the International Cup Series.
Pole-Sitter Helge Gravemeyer seemed to be the only threat to
Ingebrigtsen, but was taken out of contention in the final
stages of the race being involved in a crash with Dirk
Hunschede.
The feared Big-One happened already at lap 3 taking out many
good drivers and once again championship-leader Florian
Kirchhofer who seems to get the worst share of the championship-contenders.
Congrats also to the German Ole Seyen who finished 5th in his
1st ICS-race, just half a second behind the winner.

Justin Roberts powers to a victory at Las Vegas
Justin Roberts hits the jackpot at Las Vegas Motorspeedway, leading 128 of 161 laps. He was closely followed by Stephan Peters, who is gaining a lot of ground in the championship, claiming third spot in earnings after the third race this season.
Dave Washington did a great debut at the ICS and finished 3rd.
Pole-Sitter Gabriel Stoehr got 4th.
Bad luck for the former champion and current pointsleader Florian Kirchhofer getting involved in a late crash on lap 156.

Joerg Kormany wins at "The Rock"
Joerg Kormany wins the Carolina 500 in a dominating fashion. He took the lead from
Polesitter Keith Dunn at lap 8 and never let anyone else have it for the remaining 228 laps. Andreas Kroeger was very pleased with his 2nd place because it was the second podium in his
second race at the ICS.
Stephan Peters filled up the podium as 3rd.

Florian Kirchhofer wins the ICS-Season-Opener 2008 / Daytona 500
Like the 2007 season ended, the new season begins, with a victory of Florian Kirchhofer.
The young German dominated the race leading a race high of 83
laps and earning the highest payout an ICS-race ever gave of
142214$.
Marvin Aulmann got 2nd, just 5 hundredth of a second behind the winner, followed by
Thomas S.
Bad luck for Polesitter Helge Gravemeyer, being involved in an early crash
in lap 12 with his brother Soenke, who finished 4th.

Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race" - the Daytona 500. Though the

enormous 480-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of

The Speedway is a venue that is known throughout the world as a place where everyone in motorsports wants to claim a
victory!
